The courses required to graduate comprise a core divided into 7 categories (Areas IMPACTS). The options for completing these prerequisites for transfer to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» are listed below.
Courses can only be used in one Area.

For example, a student may take FILM 1100 and ENGL 2130 to satisfy Area C; however, if the student takes ENGL 2121 and ENGL 2122, only one course would count toward Area C requirements. |

Notes:
Earned grade of C or better in each courses is required for admission to the Nuclear
Medicine Technology major. Students taking core curriculum will be designated a Pre-
NMT Student. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» students will apply for acceptance into the Nuclear
Medicine Technology major when core curriculum is still in progress. All core must
be complete before beginning the Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Transfer Students:
If a student has complete Pre-NMT or Nuclear Medicine Technology core areas from
another school in the University System of Georgia, then Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» will accept
the areas as satisfied. A student who plans to transfer from a school not in the University
System of Georgia should complete the courses that are equivalent to the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»
                     core.
Upper division NMT courses from another Nuclear Medicine Technology program cannot
be transferred into the Bachelor of Science in Radiological Science with a major in
                     Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
*WELL 1000 Wellness (2 credit hours) and two Wellness Activity elective courses (2
credit hours) are required for graduation. Exemptions exist for transfer students
with 60 credit hours or more.
**These courses meet the US and GA legislative requirements for graduation. If taken
at a USG or TCSG institution.
*** If a BIOL sequence is taken in Area D, then a PHYS or PHSC and CHEM with Lab course
                     must be taken as well.
If a CHEM with lab sequence is taken in Area D, then a PHYS or PHSC course must be
                     taken as well.
If a PHYS sequence is taken in Area D, then a CHEM with Lab course must be taken as
                     well.
****If MATH 1113 is taken in Area A; MATH 2210 is highly recommended.
If a student transfers less than 30 hours, they should take INQR 1000. If they transfer more than 30 hours, then an additional credit from AREA D-F, if available, will fulfill INQR 1000
