Bio

I am the only daughter of Polish immigrants and was born and raised in New York City. My upbringing introduced me to many wonderful artistic and scientific novelties which stoked my lifelong love of learning. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a physician. After world travels and experiences I found my path to Medicine and Neurology.

Research Interests

As a neurologist practicing in Movement Disorders, I am interested in Parkinson's disease: early detection, possibly prevention, biomarkers, ideal management including procedures such as DBS, TMS and botulinum toxin therapy. Nonmotor symptoms particularly apathy and anxiety are of interest to me as well.
