Clinician and researcher specializing in psychodynamic assessment, interpersonal functioning, and psychotherapy process; dedicated educator passionate about integrating research, theory, and practice to foster students鈥� clinical and scientific growth.
I am passionate about teaching courses in clinical, developmental, and personality psychology that help students bridge theoretical understanding with real-world application. I emphasize critical thinking, cultural humility, and the integration of research and practice through active learning, case discussion, and reflective engagement. My goal is to cultivate curiosity and empathy as core components of psychological education.
My research and clinical interests center on interpersonal functioning, social cognition, and object relations within psychodynamic and integrative frameworks. I study how narrative and projective methods, such as the Thematic Apperception Test and SCORS-G, illuminate personality organization and inform psychotherapy process and outcome. Clinically, I am interested in applying these insights to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and to better understand relational dynamics in diverse populations.
