To ensure the safety and proper care of all animals, a specific process is in place for all animal transfers and relocations. On this page, you will find the necessary information and forms to submit your request, whether you are transferring ownership between protocols or simply relocating animals to a new housing area.
This process is a necessary part of maintaining accurate records and compliance. Please review the requirements for each type of request carefully to ensure your submission is processed as quickly as possible.
Submit requests to LASREQUESTS@augusta.edu at LEAST five (5) business days prior to the desired transfer date. This form is to request transfer of animal ownership from one PI/protocol to another PI/protocol.
Submit requests to LASREQUESTS@augusta.edu at LEAST two (2) business days prior to the desired relocation date. This form is to request to relocate animals into a new animal housing location. During this relocation animal ownership does not change.
