After-Hours Care

What kind of care do you need?

  • Routine care: Please call us at 706-721-3448 to make an appointment.
  • Urgent care: For after-hour care of non-life-threatening conditions, see the Ambulatory Care Clinics
  • Emergency care: Please call 911 or have someone drive you to the nearest Hospital Emergency Room.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that your Student Health Fee does not cover care received outside of the Student Health Services. However, if your symptoms are truly an emergency or an urgent situation, please seek care immediately at the most appropriate facility, this is when having health insurance is important! 

Make sure you always bring your health insurance information whenever you seek medical care for routine, urgent or emergency services.
